The Dark Fantastic Network (Herein refered to as TDFN)
reserve the right to change these rules and/or policies
at any time without prior notice. It is up to you to keep
refering back to this page from time to time.

Talker shell accounts are designed for talkers and muds only of a
reasonable size, and one small talker bot. No moos, mushes or other
bots of any kind, including but not limited to eggdrop bots, BNC, IRC,
proxy or relay servers of any kind may be ran on this
system without the consent of TDFN.
|
|
|
|
|
The shell accounts are designed for talker hosting, or other
program execution, and not for hosting webpages. If you have a
talker or MUD, you may have a SMALL webpage for the purpose of
promoting your talker or MUD, but we'd ask you keep the page low
traffic, otherwise you may be required to purchuse a separate web
account.

|
|
|
|
TDFN doesn't make alot of money running this server, therefore we
rely on you, the user to help support the server through your payments
for accounts. We're currently not being sponsored, and therefore
the money for the server comes out of our own pockets, and
we're doing the best we can. If anyone wishes to donate
extra money towards the running of the server, all donations
gladly accepted :-) |

No pornographic material of any kind may be stored on this
server. This means no using shell accounts, or personal web accounts
for storage or for serving files to other web pages. |

|
|
|
No Child ("Kiddy","Lolita") porn of any kind will be
tolerated on this server in any form, including graphic images, stories
etc. Breach of this rule is grouds for instant account termination,
no questions asked.

|
|
|
No copyrighted material which you do not legally have the right to
use/distribute may be used on webpages or stored on this server. This
includes MP3 files, 'WaReZ', etc. Such content, if found may be removed
without notice, and can/may also result in account termination no refunds.
|
|
|
|
|
Any server programs such as talkers or MUDS *must* have the ports they use
cleared with TDFN before they can be used. This includes any test ports
or other ports needed. There are no exceptions. Violators risk having their
servers shut down without warning. Ports are reserved for customers on a first
come, first serve basis but must be registered with the system administrator.

|
|
|
NO SPAM (unsolicited mail) will be tollerated from this server by
its members. Spam is annoying, and irritating to most people.
Any complaints of spam, and your e-mail privledges can be revoked or
result in termination of your account in the case of email only accounts.

|
|
|
|
Use Common Sence...If you wouldn't want it done to you, don't
do it to others! Simple rule to live by. :-)
|
|
|
|
|
No running of programs with the intent of doing harm or damage
to another machine and/or network from this server. Including such
programs as WinNuke, TearDrop, ICQ Flood, and/or other exploits,
port scanners etc. Such programs found will be removed immediately
without warning and may result in account termination.
